Have Some Questions Before Booking Your Trip?

Do not worry.  We have your answers here!

What happens if the price drops after I booked?

Answer:
Unfortunately, it does happen. Travel suppliers constantly change prices through a process called Yield Management where by they increase or decrease prices depending on the number of reservation they have on particular day. In some cases, they drop the price to sell last minute inventory or they have had large group cancellation and have to sell some unexpected inventory. Either way it hurts and we have had it happen to us so we understand. However, there is truly nothing we can do as we do not control the travel suppliers pricing systems of any of the travel suppliers on this site or associated links. Sorry!

How much baggage can I take with me on my trip?

Answer:
How much do you really need? (just kidding!)
Seriously, the baggage allowance can vary from one airline carrier to the next so Your Travel Tickets.Com suggests you check with your specific individual airlines and/or tour companies to verify the exact size and weight allowed.
In general the limits are:
Carry on Baggage: One Standard Article - Max 10kg - Max 55cm x 40cm x 23cm - Plus One Personal Item
Checked Baggage: Two Standard Articles - Max 20kg - Max L+W+H = 158cm

Do I really need cancellation and medical insurance?

Answer:
Your Travel Tickets.Com is required by the Province of Ontario Law and our corporate head office policy to ask all customers if they wish either medical and/or cancellation insurance when booking their trip regardless of your destination. Your Travel Tickets.Com wants to ensure that there is no possibility of any misunderstanding or miscommunication regarding the purchase of travel insurance should a potential claim occur prior, during or after your next trip with us. Your company plan and/or credit card coverage may not be sufficient and we recommend that you check with your individual insurance provider to fully understand your rights and coverage.
Your Travel Tickets.Com offers you RBC Insurance coverage. If you choose to purchase this, you simply need to contact the number on the insurance policy provided to you and RBC Insurance will instruct you on the next steps should a claim arise before, during or after your trip.
Regardless of what you decide, make sure you know what coverage you have and don’t travel without medical insurance outside of Canada.

What if I made a mistake on my booking?

Answer:
Call Us Now To Fix This!
If you made a mistake in your name or another traveller’s name (and this happens trust us), call us and we can request a change in the spelling of the individual's name. Remember, the names must match your full first and last name exactly on the proof of identification you are going to use while travelling including your birthdays etc with the information you have provided to us. No nicknames please! You cannot travel on airline tickets and/or tour vacation tickets if your name is not spelled correctly. You risk being denied entry and exit from countries, denied boarding of aircraft, car, hotel and tour supplier vacations travel if you attempt to use a travel document that contains an incorrect name. Most airlines and major tour suppliers charge a penalty and may charge you an additional fee to change a name or spelling of an individual's name. An automatic charge will be applied to your credit card for any name change request in addition to any travel supplier charge of $50.00 plus HST.

When should I expect to get my tickets?

Answer:
You should expect your electronic tickets no less then ten (10) business days prior to your departure date. Some times, we are able to send them right away but often we have to wait till the travel supplier sends them out to us. If you do not receive them two (2) days prior to your departure date please call our Customer Care Centre.

I saw the price change on the final page?

Answer:
Unfortunately we are at the mercy of the technology gods.
Canadian tour operators are constantly updating their pricing and sometimes it just doesn’t communicate at the same pace as everyone else’s system. It does happen and sometimes your booking price will change before the final screen (where you enter your credit card). If you are not happy with the changed price, simply start over and you can search for something within your price range. Just remember - the actual price is on the final screen.
