1. What Identification Do I Need?

Because of increased airport security, you are required to have proper travel identification for all travel.

Canadian Born Citizens

Travel Within Canada, you are required to have two (2) pieces of photo identification including a valid drivers license and valid provincial health card for purposes of proof of identification.

Travel To USA and Within USA, you are required to have a Valid Government Issued Passport

General Rule For Travel Outside Of Canada, you are required to have a Valid Government Issued Passport

Non Canadian Born Citizens

For the required travel documents for a particular country, you should contact the appropriate consulate, embassy, or government agency. You are responsible for acquiring the proper documentation to enter the country you are traveling to.

2. Can I Hold A Trip Or Cancel My Booking If I Change My Mind?

Your Travel Tickets.Com uses a state of the art “real time live travel inventory” online software. This means that you are seeing real time prices and actual air, hotel, car and all inclusive resort space ready to buy.

All reservations made are instant purchase reservations and cannot be refunded or cancelled.

Reservations are non changeable and non transferable.

If you have a problem, please call our Customer Care Centre immediately so we can inquire with the travel supplier as to the penalties or charges involved in cancelling or changing your reservation should that be necessary.

3. We Made A Mistake!

You must immediately call us.

If you made a mistake in your name or traveller, call us and we can request a change in the spelling of the individual's name.

It must match your full first and last name exactly to the proof identification you are going to use while travelling ie Canadian Government Issued Passport.

No nicknames please !! You cannot travel on airline tickets and/or tour vacation tickets if your name is not spelled correctly.

You risk being denied entry and exit from countries, denied boarding of aircraft, car, hotel and tour supplier vacations travel if you attempt to use a travel document that contains an incorrect name.

Most airlines and major tour suppliers charge a penalty and may charge you an additional fee to change a name or spelling of an individual's name.

An automatic charge will be applied to your credit card for any name change requests in addition to any travel supplier charge of $50.00 plus GST.

4. How Do We Add Our Special Request?

Once you have made your online travel booking, simply email our Customer Care Centre and request any special needs you may have in regards to your trip.

Please note Your Travel Tickets.Com does not guarantee that special requests can be accommodated by individual travel suppliers, nor does any travel supplier that participates in this website guarantee that your special requests will be filled.

5. What If The Prices Goes Down After I Made My Reservations?

All reservations made are instant purchase reservations and cannot be refunded, cancelled or adjusted with regards to price.

The rate you agree to when you make your reservation is the rate you pay. No discounts after booking and no price increases either if the supplier should increase the price of your particular vacation.

6. How Do I Receive My Travel Tickets?

Airline Tickets

Most major airlines now use electronic tickets for individuals traveling and you will not receive any physical tickets as in the past.

Please note in cases where we are required to issue a paper airline ticket, those tickets will be sent out to you by courier, at your cost.

Tour and Vacation Tickets

Most tour suppliers now use electronic tickets for individuals traveling.

If you are traveling within seven (7) days from the date of your reservation, the tour supplier will send your travel documents to the airport on your behalf to be picked up at the tour supplier counter at the airport on the day of your departure.

If you are traveling more than seven (7) days from the date of your reservation, then we will receive your travel documents on your behalf and forward them to you. These are generally electronic documents and they will be sent to you by e-mail to the e-mail address provided to us.

Should your travel documents be paper tickets, we will forward those to you by courier, at your cost, should you choose to receive your documents or you may choose to make them airport pick up as above.

7.Where Do I Call For Help While Travelling?

Your Travel Tickets.Com provides you with 24/7 Emergency and Customer Care Travel Services through our associated company alliances.

Please note:
Our 24/7 Emergency and Customer Care Travel Services number should only be used in cases of real emergencies and NOT TO CHECK on arrivals of flights, weather conditions etc, but in cases where you require assistance while traveling and you cannot solve it on your own. Please remember that you will be automatically billed $ 35.00 plus GST (if applicable) if you use this service.

8. I Have Some Health Questions Regarding My Trip?

Your Travel Tickets.Com strongly recommends you always check with your local family doctor or health board regarding immunizations.

Your Travel Tickets.Com wants you to have a safe vacation! It is our recommendation that you always use your common sense when traveling abroad.

Remember, if you would not do something at home, don't do it while on your vacation. We suggest you check for any Canadian Travel Advisories regarding your destination if you have any concerns.

9. How Much Baggage Can I Take?

How much do you really need?

Seriously, the baggage allowance can vary from one airline carrier to the next so Your Travel Tickets.Com suggests you check with your specific individual airlines and/or tour companies to verify the exact size and weight allowed.

In general the limits are:

Maximum 10 kg
Max 55 cm X 40 cm X 23 cm
Plus One Personal Item
Checked Baggage Two Standard Articles
Maximum 20 kg
Max L +W + H = 158 cm

10. Do I Medical and Cancellation Travel Insurance?

Your Travel Tickets.Com is required by law and our corporate policy to ask all customers if they wish either medical and/or cancellation insurance when booking their trip.

Your Travel Tickets.Com wants to ensure that there is no possibility of any misunderstanding or miscommunication regarding the purchase of travel insurance should a potential claim occur prior, during or after your next trip with us.

Your company plan and/or credit card coverage may not be sufficient, we recommend that you check with your individual insurance provider to fully understand your rights and coverage.

Your Travel Tickets.Com offers you RBC Insurance coverage, if you choose to purchase this, you simply need to contact the number on the insurance policy provided to you and RBC Insurance will instruct you on the next steps should a claim arise before, during or after your trip.
